HOLIDAYS TO GAMBIA - ACCOMMODATION
Boboi Accommodation:
At Boboi Beach Lodge we have different types of accommodation to suit everyone’s needs and budget, from camping to our new luxury bungalows. We also have family suites. All of our accommodation is detached and spaced out over a large palm forest as well as being a stone’s throw from the beach. All our accommodation has mosquito nets. You also have the choice of en suite or without en suite.
All the accommodation, except camping, is priced for 2 people sharing and includes breakfast.
Booking and Payment:
We are now able to take full payment in the UK for our accommodation and holidays, and we are giving an introductory offer of 5% discount for customers who pay the full amount in advance. Email for details.
Luxury Bungalows:
Price is D2500 or £60 per night for 2 sharing including breakfast.
Package for 7 nights including dinner and airport transfers is £475.
Package for 14 nights including dinner £910.
We have three of these secluded bungalows set a little apart from the main lodge and with the beach less than 50 meters away with your own beach access. These rooms are large and spacious and well appointed. They have views to die for of the endless beach and sunsets which you can enjoy from the veranda.
Round Houses:
Our round houses were built using local materials, local labour and in a traditional way.
All the round houses are separate and all within 100 meters of the beach.
Round house with ensuite bathroom:
Price is 1250 Dalasi or £30 per night for 2 sharing including breakfast.
Package for 7 nights including dinner and airport transfer is £280.
Package for 14 nights including transfers is £420.
We have 8 of these round houses, spaced out among the palm-forested area and all set apart from each other. These round houses are with a bathroom and well decorated but no frills and perfect for spending a relaxing and easy going night at Boboi.
Round house, no bathroom:
Price is 900 Dalasi per night or £21.
Package for 7 nights including dinner and airport transfer is £210.

Simple, no frills accommodation for the budget traveller. Sleeps two in comfort.
Tree Houses:
Price is D600 per night including a simple breakfast.
Package for 7 nights including dinner and airport transfers is £150.

We have built 4 tree houses to meet increasing demand for low cost accommodation without walls up at tree level. Sleeps 2. You have to be able to climb up a ladder and there is no bathroom but there is a mosi net.
(Proving very popular and my children prefer to stay in them!)
Eco Energy:
All our electricity is from the sun and so we don’t have electricity in the rooms and air conditioning comes from the sea breeze. We invert solar power into 240V AC power which means that we can charge cameras, mobiles and small electrical devices in the bar.
Water is probably our most precious resource at Boboi. We have two wells to provide you with water and we have to pump this water up into tanks and then it is piped to you. This means using generators to power the water pumps and the more water needed the more we need to pump and the more power we need. If you can help to save water then we can reduce our carbon footprint even further – please help us!
