TRAVEL- HOW TO GET TO BOBOI BEACH LODGE
There is a very easy way to get to Boboi Beach Lodge. Email us and we will collect you from the airport!
To get to The Gambia is also easy.
Check Teletext or a travel agent for a cheap seat on the charter planes run by Monarch or Air 2000. Depending on the time of year or availability you could pay between £250 - £400.Some maps show Kartong on the map of Gambia, but if not, Kartong is situated on the coast, the last village before the border with Senegal. Kartong is south of Banjul. and after Gunjur, a small town that is on most maps.
Boboi Beach Lodge is 2 Kilometres from Kartong, in Kombo South, The Gambia. To get to Kartong is easy. If you arrive at Banjul International Airport, ask for a taxi to Kartong. It will cost around 400 to 500 Dalasis, but check on the notice board just outside the airport terminal door.
If you are coming from the Banjul, Serrekunda
or Fajara areas you will need to go to Serrekunda Taxi Park
and get a bush taxi to Brikama (about 7 Dalasis) and then from
Brikama to Gunjur (about 9 Dalasis) and then from Gunjur to
Kartong (about 5 Dalasis). Ask the Kartong taxi to drop you
at Boboi.
